Reviewed and passed at the AGM June 4, 2005

·             Allow bands to ‘challenge up’ if they meet all the requirements of the next grade.  If a band wins contests in two grades, they are awarded both prizes.

·          Amateur tenor drum requirement changed to a four (4) part march in 2/4 time signature from a medley; and a snare drummer may accompany the competitor, rather than a bass drummer.

·          Amateur bass drum requirement changed to a four (4) part march in 2/4 time signature from a medley.

·          Bands or members joining after January 1 of each calendar year must submit an additional $5.00 per member with the yearly membership fee of $15.

·          In addition to the specified entry fee, entries for individual piobaireachd events must include a refundable registration fee of $20.00 per venue.  The refundable piobaireachd registration fee shall be returned to the competitor if and only if the registrant competes.

·          Games will no longer award double points (Championship) for winning.  All will be equal.  Ensemble judges are required at Games.
