Steve Serneels and the
Tampa Bay Pipes & Drums band members did a great job hosting this year's meeting.
The hall was perfect and the meeting successful. Thanks Steve!

The turnout for the
meeting was above expectations. 58 were in attendance at
the start of the meeting, and then more joined us over the next 10
minutes.
-
A new slate of officers
was elected to the Executive Committee.
-
All of the Bylaw amendments
were passed.
-
The Rules &
Requirements
were adjusted to reflect the new Bylaws and a few new Rules were added.

Music Board Report:
Jeff Anderson announced the upgrades for next season and presented certificates.
No downgrades.

The City of Melbourne Pipes
& Drums band and P/M David Spurlock have generously offered to host
the SUSPBA Annual General Meeting in 2005. We look forward to
visiting
Melbourne FL next year.
The SUSPBA will
sponsor
a
Drumming Clinic
in Dunedin, on Sept. 11, 2004, covering snare, tenor and bass drumming.
The Highland Games
Committee / Sanctioning meeting will also be held on September 11,
2004.
The Championship Supreme
Winners were announced and received
their prizes.
Members then enjoyed the
performances from the Grade 5 Pipe Band Supreme Champions - the
City of
Melbourne Pipes & Drums the Grade 4 Pipe Band Champions
- Dunedin
High School Pipe Band; and by the Individual C. S. Winners: Jordan
Craig - Grade 5 Piping; Roberta Sefcik - Grade 4 Piping; William Sefcik
- Grade 4 Drumming; Kathy Cioffi - Grade 3 Drumming; Eric Street
- Grade 2 Drumming; and
Jesse Reedy - Amt. Tenor Drum. The City of Dunedin Pipe Band performed. The
finale was a performance by one of our Grade 1 pipers, James Everett,
and a video was made to be submitted to Amateur Invitational competitions.
